• The new Ultegra R8000 is adopted with the Shadow Technology inspired by Shimano’s mountain bike derailleurs. This allows for a lower profile design and places the derailleur further inboard, keeping it out of potential risk of damage in a crash and allowing a better chain path of the guide pulley in relation to the cassette.
